We were proud to celebrate one of our favorite milestones of the year, honoring our graduating seniors. Each graduate received a Rise Up For Youth graduation cord in recognition of their dedication and commitment throughout the program.
This year, we celebrated 24 Brotherhood graduates and 25 Sisterhood graduates.
We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing the impact they will make as they begin this next chapter.

I Am Why
During the Juneteenth weekend, Destination Innovation welcomed their partners from I Am Why to Wichita to co-facilitate a workshop for a cohort of young women and gender-expansive young adults. This year's workshops centered on celebrating Black voices, culture. Rise Up For Youth Program Manager, Lynn, supported staff members who facilitated the sessions, helping ensure participants had a meaningful experience throughout the weekend. Camp Destination Innovation
This summer, the Rise Up For Youth team also played an active role in supporting Camp Destination Innovation: Designing the Future. Staff members assisted throughout the four-week entrepreneurship camp, helping create an environment where young people from across Wichita connected with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. From mentoring campers to supporting daily activities, the Rise Up For Youth staff helped make this year's camp a memorable experience.
