Our Summer camp: Designing the Future
In June, we hosted our annual summer camp with the theme “Designing the Future,” where we explored how local businesses navigate and utilize technology, AI, and creative problem solving. Campers explored careers and entrepreneurship through workshops, field trips, and guest speakers.
Take a look at what some of our days looked like at camp this year:
Trade Show

The month wrapped up with our Trade Show where our young entrepreneurs pitched their business ideas, sold their items, and competed for a cash prize. The evening was full of energy, creativity, and community support! Thanks to the suggested $5 entry fee, we were able to award a People’s Choice prize funded directly by attendees. Congratulations to all of our winners:
🥇 1st Place: Jude Martinez – Meant To Be
🥈 2nd Place: Emeory McGlory – Square Life Apparel
🥉 3rd Place: Jordyn Long - VelTeen
⭐ People’s Choice: Aria Johnson - Velvel and Vine
This unforgettable summer at Camp DI wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Garver, Network Kansas, Meritrust Credit Union, WSU Connect, Cargill, Freddy’s, Chick-Fil-A and all of our incredible donors. Your commitment to youth empowerment helped bring Camp DI to life.
We’re excited to keep the momentum going as we head into the school year. Stay tuned for what’s next! You can always keep up to date with us by following along on social media.
