Camp Destination Innovation: Kansas Youth Virtual Entrepreneurship Challenge Is Open!

The school year has officially started, and Camp Destination Innovation is excited to announce that our annual Kansas Youth Virtual Entrepreneurship Challenge is officially open!
The competition is open to elementary, middle, and high school students across the state of Kansas, giving young entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their creativity, share their business ideas, and compete for cash prizes!
Students can enter by registering as an entrepreneur, registering their business, submitting a brief business description, and uploading a 3–5 minute video pitching their business or business idea. Whether they already have a business or are just getting started with an idea, this is a great opportunity for students to build confidence, receive feedback, and develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Here's what students can win:
Elementary School: $300 for 1st place, $150 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place.
Middle School: $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $150 for 3rd place.
High School: $1,000 for 1st place, $350 for 2nd place, and $250 for 3rd place.
Bonus prizes may also be awarded in special wildcard categories!
The deadline to submit is October 25, 2026, and winners will be announced November 6. We encourage students, parents, and educators to spread the word and help us reach the next generation of Kansas entrepreneurs.
We're Also Looking for Judges!
Our judges help make this competition what it is! By sharing their knowledge, offering feedback, and encouraging young entrepreneurs, judges play an important role in helping students grow their ideas into something bigger.
We're looking for individuals with business knowledge or experience, including community members, entrepreneurs, college business students, teachers, and professors. If you're passionate about entrepreneurship, education, or supporting the next generation of innovators, we'd love to have you involved!
Interested in participating?
Students: Register for the challenge and submit your video by October 25.
Potential Judges: Reach out to learn more about getting involved by October 26
