Rise Up For Youth is joining Destination Innovation!
Rise Up For Youth, a program that mentors hundreds of Wichita high school students each year, empowering them to achieve a high school diploma and go out into the world with a personalized plan for success. With a strong, ten-year legacy, Rise Up For Youth will continue to serve young people in our community with the same passion and dedication as always, but now under a new nonprofit home.
Rise Up For Youth has chosen to become a part of Destination Innovation’s hub of youth leadership programs. This is a full-circle moment for us, as our Executive Director, Marquetta Atkins-Woods began her journey mentoring young people as a volunteer for Rise Up For Youth, before going on to found her own nonprofit organization.

We want to give a special shout out to the Wichita Foundation for their funding support to help us with this transition process. We deeply appreciate their visionary approach to building up our Wichita community. We also want to thank the Rise Up For Youth Board of Directors for all their efforts to make this move possible.
